歷史

薰衣草純精油自古以來就因其藥用特性而被使用,並在十二世紀成為一種成熟的植物。薰衣草油後來在十三和十四世紀的歐洲藥用修道院花園中種植。薰衣草精油的商業種植在 1823 年開始,而今天薰衣草是曬傷產品中常見的油。

  1. 蒸薰法:將5至10滴精華油混入載滿暖水的香薰爐中。

  2. 按摩法:將4至5滴精華油混合10毫升的底油,用於身體按摩,對鬆弛神經或紓緩疲勞非常有效;亦可作護膚油使用。

  3. 沐浴法:加入8至10滴精華油於浴缸中,即可享受香薰水療,不但可改善肌膚,對於舒緩肌肉痛及改善睡眠質素非常有效。

  4. 直接吸入法:只需將3至5滴精華油滴在紙巾或枕頭上即可;亦可將精華油滴於一盆熟水中,用大毛巾蓋著頭,近距離吸入蒸氣,約10分鐘後即有效消除疲勞;治療頭痛及呼吸道感染特別有效。

  5. 泥粉面膜(潔淨和美白):將1-2滴精華油混入已調好花水的泥粉中。

  6. 個人護理產品 :例如洗髮水、沐浴液、面霜等將4-5滴精華油混合10毫升個人護理產品中。

  7. 香水:將4-10滴精華油及4-10滴溶解劑混入10毫升水中,可製成自己獨特的香水。

禁忌: 低血压底人士忌用, 孕妇忌用, 尚未到达青春期的男孩忌用

每(5/10/30/50/100)毫升中調配2%香薰油需要分別加入(2/4/12/20/40)滴香薰油

每(5/10/30/50/100)毫升中調配2.5%香薰油需要分別加入(3/5/15/25/30)滴香薰油

*眼部護理=0.5% 面部=1% - 2% 成人全身=2% - 2.5%


*注意:薄身油可以直接使用於皮膚,由於厚身油的性質比較厚及黏,與薄身油混合一起使用效果更佳

Calm anxiety/ anti-anxiety Several studies have tested lavender's anxiety-reducing effects in specific populations. For example, a study published in Physiology & Behavior in 2005 focused on 200 people awaiting dental treatment and found that breathing in the scent of lavender both lessened anxiety and improved mood. A pilot study published in Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice in 2012 indicates that lavender-essential-oil-based aromatherapy may help soothe anxiety in high-risk postpartum women. In an experiment involving 28 women who had given birth in the previous 18 months, researchers found that four weeks of twice-weekly, 15-minute-long aromatherapy sessions helped alleviate depression in addition to lowering anxiety levels. Tackle Insomnia/ improve sleep Several studies have shown lavender essential oil may help promote sleep and fight insomnia. A 2015 study published in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine found a combination of sleep hygiene techniques and lavender essential oil therapy helped college students get a better night's sleep than sleep hygiene alone. The study of 79 students with self-reported sleep problems also found inhaling lavender at bedtime improved daytime energy and vibrancy. A 2018 study published in Holistic Nursing Practice confirms lavender's effect on sleep. In this study of 30 residents of a nursing home, lavender aromatherapy was found to improve sleep onset, quality, and duration in an elderly population. Anti-microbial Antimicrobial resistance has been on the rise over recent years with an unknown number of resistant bacterial strains developed. The microorganism Enterococcus faecium, responsible for causing infections such as endocarditis, cellulitis, and bacteremia, had, as of 2009, developed a high level of resistance to aminoglycoside antibiotics. No known alternative for treatment currently exists. Due to this growing level of resistance, research has been undertaken to develop new products with antimicrobial potential for use independently and in combination with current antibiotics, with researchers looking towards natural products and plants for solutions. The lack of antagonism and indication of possible drug potentiation within this study further augments the potential for the use of essential oils in combination with antimicrobial agents for a synergistic antimicrobial effect. (2016). The In Vitro Antimicrobial Effects of Lavandula angustifolia Essential Oil in Combination with Conventional Antimicrobial Agents. Anti-inflammatory The discovery of promising regulators of macrophage-mediated inflammatory response, without side effects, could be useful for the prevention of, or as therapeutic remedy for, various inflammation-mediated diseases. A study investigated, by transcriptional analysis, how a L. angustifolia essential oil treatment influences the macrophage response to Staphylococcus aureus infection. The results showed that the treatment increases the phagocytic rate and stimulates the containment of intracellular bacterial replication by macrophages. Our data showed that this stimulation is coupled with expression of genes involved in reactive oxygen species production. Moreover, the essential oil treatment balanced the inflammatory signalling induced by S. aureus by repressing the principal pro-inflammatory cytokines and their receptors and inducing the heme oxygenase-1 gene transcription. Thus, the L. angustifolia essential oil can stimulate the human innate macrophage response to a bacterium which is responsible for one of the most important nosocomial infection and might suggest the potential development of this plant extract as an anti-inflammatory and immune regulatory coadjutant drug.
