EFT? (Emotional Freedom Techniques?), was developed earlier in the 1990's by Gary H.Craig based on Meridian Psychology established by Dr. Roger Callahan after practicing psychotherapy for over 30 years.
In simplest terms, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian points while the client is "tuned in" to the problem.
Based on an impressive new discovery that negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body's energy system (or Meridian system), EFT has been proven clinically effective (over 80%) for Trauma, Abuse, Stress, Anxiety, Fears, Phobias, Depression , Grief, Addictive Cravings Issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains and breathing difficulties.
EFT is versatile and has been used confidently by hundreds of therapists on thousands of clients. Most of the evidence of success for these techniques exists in the reports of hundreds of therapists around the world who have successfully treated clients using EFT. |
